What Is This Stuff Made Of?
CERAM-A-STAR 1050’s proprietary resin formulation provides the backbone of this revolutionary SMP system. It is combined with select ceramic and inorganic pigments, which are proven to be the most resistant to fade. The result is a coating that provides the highest durability, consistency, and color stability.
In fact, the color stability of CERAM-A-STAR 1050 rivals that of 70% PVDF coatings, while offering excellent resistance to stain, scratch and abrasion. The combination of durability, toughness, flexibility and color retention makes CERAM-A-STAR 1050 and excellent choice for residential, agricultural, and commercial applications.

CERAM-A-STAR 1050 COOL CHEMISTRY Series contains infrared reflective pigments. When COOL CHEMISTRY coatings are use on metal roofing, the result is a sustainable building material that can lower air conditioning costs, reduce peak energy demand, and help mitigate urban heat island effects aka (help you survive the summer heat).

From Coil To Roof Panel
How it's Made!
First the coil of Ceram-A-Star 1050 in the color of your choice is loaded into the coil holder which prevents it from unrolling uncontrollably. Second it is unrolled and cut to whatever length you ordered. Since each piece can be made to a custom length, material waste is less which reduces your project cost saving you money! Third each piece is then carefully loaded 1 at a time into the roll former. The roll former has a series of rollers that shape the metal ribs starting with the middle rib and working out towards the edges.

To prevent any damage to your metal we cover the stack with what is known as a cover sheet.
This cover sheet is a peice of roof metal that acts as a shield keeping everything under
it safe from scratches and dents.
We also wrap the stack of roof metal with reinforced plastic or paper cover.
